Seeing happy kids get candy on Halloween: Priceless.
Our mall decided not to give out candy, breaking an 18-year tradition. Instead, they thought it would be a good idea to put on some kiddie Halloween show. Bad move. So tonight, when hundreds of people packed the mall festooned in costumes, many of the stores revolted and bought candy to hand out.

alucardblueand I were the only ones working, so we were the ones who had to look at the little kids and say "Sorry but our bosses are cheap bastardsno candy." I couldn't take it. After the seventh child I broke, grabbed my wallet, and made a frantic dash to CVS to buy candy. That's where I found out that 60 of the stores were taking part in the candy revolt. It made me glad.
According to my calculations, (30 pieces of hard candy per bagx13 bags/1 candy per child) we were trick-or-treated by over 600 children in the space of two hours. It made me feel so awesome. ^_^alucardblue kept making clock noises in the background, but he ended up buying some candy in the end. Softie.
I am not speaking to him right now because he found a wad of cash packed in a box in his room. Bougoius sunovabitch. XD
